The terrible outcomes of foster youth are partly due to their lack of resource access – this includes the knowledge of how to be independent. From job skills to navigating being an adult, iFoster’s combination of "How Do I’s," self-directed trainings, facilitated trainings, and workshops all help youth prepare for the shift to independence.

Award-winning training, internship and employment placement program for transition-age foster youth to ensure they can be financially independent when they leave care.

TAY AmeriCorps

Innovative AmeriCorps service program where foster youth are trained and serve as peer navigators and mentors.

  • TAY AmeriCorps members serve over 10,000 foster youth in the Bay Area and Los Angeles County annually.
